In the beginning was the word...and we think everyone knows how the rest turned out. for our story we step in a little later.

maya was born in the hot summer 2002. the impulse came from a small group of italian and austrian designers inspired and connected by their passion for design, love and italian dolce vita! and then there was the increasing demands for vintage-styles and recycling fashion we spoted.

fast times followed and not after long the two young designers dominik mayer (austria) and simone ertl (italia) set out to establish a ÒlovebrandÓ called maya.
